Here’s How Big London Investment Bank Bonuses Were

A new survey of investment banking directors based in London has put Goldman Sachs top of the bonus league table. Directors at the U.S. bank received an average of £194,000 ($298,500) in bonuses for 2014, according to a survey by Emolument.com, a salary benchmarking website. American banks dominated the top ranks, with Morgan Stanley, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan and Citigroup making up the top five. Directors are often mid-level bankers in their early 30s and 40s.
