Bankers beat consultants in race for high wages

Bankers and consultants earn similar salaries at the start of their respective careers but after five years the former start to earn much more. By their "late career", bankers tend to earn over £400,000, more than double their consultant counterparts, according to salary analysts at Emolument.com, who studied the pay of almost 1,700 bankers and strategy consultants.
